About Us

Sunco Pump & Well Drilling is a member of the Maine Ground Water Association (MGWA). With the help of his wife, Terri, and brothers, Gary and Bert, Ross Deschaine has owned and operated the company since 1989. He has all of the licenses required by the state of Maine for drilling and pump installation. He has also built some of the equipment that the company requires in order to provide first-class service to its customers. In addition to drilling and installation, Sunco Pump & Well Drilling also does hydrofracturing and down-the-hole video for problem wells.

Gary has been with the company since 1996.  He has received all of his experience in the field.  He is a father of 2 and also a grandfather of 2 boys.

Gary is the clown of the bunch, he keeps everyone smiling.


Bert Deschaine

• Apprentice Pump Installer

Bert has been with the company since May 1999.  He is willing to tackle any job.  He is married and a father of 2 boys.

Josh Deschaine

• Apprentice Pump Installer
• Apprentice Well Driller

Josh has been with the company since 2009.  He is Bert's son.  He is a great helper and a hard worker.  Also a fun kid to have around.

Ross Deschaine

• Master Pump Installer
• Certified in Water Conditioning
• Licensed for Geothermal Drilling
• Owner/President

Ross started Sunco with his wife Terri in 1989.  He builds some of his own equipment needed for the shop.  He repairs all of his own vehicles.

Terri Deschaine

• Certified for Small Water System
• Owner/Office Manager

Terri is the first person you see at the front door and talk to on the phone.  She does all the scheduling, A/R, A/P etc...  Ross and she have three children and 4 grandchildren.
